There are some people in this world who are in dire need of a Louisville Slugger bat SLAMMED RIGHT ACROSS THEIR HEADS!
We now have an emaciated little Maltese rescue who was left in an empty Los Angeles area house when the owners abandoned the property. I don't know how long he was left there but the little guy is skin and bones.
We will feed him three high calorie and high protein meals a day and we will get this cute little guy ready to be adopted into a home in which he will get the care that he deserves. We have already received applications for him and my son-in-law wants to adopt him badly. He is a darling and loving little guy. Luckily, except for being malnourished, he doesn't seem like there are any other health problems...
Meanwhile the animal comtrol folks are investigaing the inident with the aim of prosecuting the malfactors. As I mentioned, I'd like to prosecute them with a bat across their miserable heads....
All anyone would have needed to do is look up Maltese Rescue on Google, contact us, and we would have come to rescue the little guy no questions asked! Hopefully the animal control folks will be able to locate the previous owners and have them in court! However, I really doubt is they have the manpower....

Thank you for taking care of this little guy.
Oh heck Calla, I can get REAL ANGRY when it comes to the welfare of animals. My wife is also such a nice person that you don't think she would say anything but nice things to people You ought to hear her chew out people who either don't take care of their own dogs or are totally unfit to adopt one of our rescues. She can fry people without ever using a cuss word...
It probably goes on more than anyone realizes. We have had a couple of house foreclosures in our neighborhood and one man left his cats and chickens. Both the cats and chickens were in our backyard but the dogs chased them off. A new person bought the house and says there are still "free reign chickens" around there. Another neighbor left her cats in a crate in the back yard and they were crying for days. Yes, what is wrong with people? They could get somebody to take these poor animals.
Batter Up!!
You guys are absolute angels! So, when you are done with the ball bat, can you slide it my way? I just found out a woman who I used to work with and respected just rehomed her 6 year old golden (Gavin's half bro) because of the shedding she had to vacuum every day and with a new child and full time work he wasn't getting the attention he needed. I don't know what I am going to do if I run into because I cannot look her in the eye. I seriously am having bad thoughts. He is an awesome dog and SIX years old! The only reason I could sleep last night is I know the person who took him and she will do right by him.
These stories make me sick. What is wrong with people? I truly hope what goes around, comes around. Thank you for helping this dog.
It's sad that there are people like this in the world. But what keeps me going is knowing there are people like YOU and so many others that do so much good!
What I have to say about these people is not for publication.
What is wrong with people? I hope the worthless individduals who did this are found and punished. Thank you for helping him, Richard.
