Intermediate training started today...

[Elizabeth, Bailey & Bruin]

Was a little nervous about starting intermediate class with Bailey this AM even though we are using the same trainer as basic.

 

I do have to say it is the most diverse group of dogs.  Picture in your head.  First: Rickie the chichuaua, very well behaved, no leash required and he is "titled" in training.  Then there is the cutest mix breed dog.  This guy is always looking like he is smiling..Next up a Great Dane, what a gentle giant he is.  Then there is the sweetest german shepard.  Always rolling over for belly rubs when she is being praised.  Let me tell you, this dog is amazing.  "Wally the trainer" uses her to demonstrate...AND then there is Bailey...a silly little mop head doodle bug who loves everyone and wants to be petted.  who is always wiggling her butt saying pet me pet me...and who is, bless her heart having to train me...It's pretty bad when Wally tells me" Bailey is doing great, it's her momma that needs work"..I couldn't help but laugh...Sometimes I can be directionally challenged...

 

I was really pleased with the way class went today.  It will take a lot of practice but I think we will be OK...that is if mommy can get all the hand signals and commands down so poor Bailey won't be so confused.
