I've tossed this idea around a lot...not sure if the timing was right, etc. Was I ready? Could Clark handle it? Is there really a need for another breeder? What generation I should I breed? You know the usual issues.

But having passed some critical milestones, I wanted to share that it's now official...

Who's ready for some photos of my new 13 week old addition?

Are you?

Totally sure?

Okay...here it is!

Look at this huge head...totally takes after Daddy!

I'm calling this hybrid a "Clarkinapoo" -- what do you think?

13 weeks down...27 or so to go! My youngest sister has already named it "Bella Swan" =)

Wendy, I'm still undecided about feeding times. We'll see! At least I don't have to worry about where to buy the best food! Training will start immediately.

Karen, I don't think I'll be able to stop Thule unless I kick her out of the house! Last time my friends with a baby came over we had to gate the licker...she just would not stop. Rosco sniffed every inch, gave a few kisses, then flopped over for a nap and let the baby pull on his hair. Thule? She won't nap till she's helped me nurse a few nights in a row...

Missi, You're not supposed to scroll to photos FIRST!

Are you leaning towards free-feeding or meals times? At what age are you going to start training?

Congrats to both of you!!

Oh, Adina may have gotten over her crazy clean obsession when she became a dog person, but I am not going to hold my breath waiting for her to let any dog lick that baby, lol! Thule will have to sneak in some licks when Clark is babysitting!

You had me going until I actually opened up the blog. Then I immediately scrolled down and saw the scans and jumped in my chair! Now you can't tell breeders you're popping out babies just for them to socialize pups with! I still think that's one of the funniets things I ever read. And it's good to hear that Clark is OFA tested and that this will be a true F1, since that's what I'm a fan of anyway. I hope Thule enjoys the baby-flavored lollipop!

The babe will be totally non-shedding and hypoallergenic!
Which is good because Thule will treat the infant like a lollipop!

Congratulations to you both. I sure bought the breeder thing at first. Nothing is more exciting than getting prepared for the first baby. Edith
