It's our Birthday today!

One advantage to adopting a doodle is we get to pick their birthdate.  We had an estimate of when Clifford was born, which made his birthday sometime in June.  Since my birthday is also in June I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate than to ask Clifford to share my birthday.  While I'm more experienced, he's cuter and younger so we are sure to have a great day.  Clifford started his second birthday with a serenade from me (he may have thought of this as punishment but he tolerated it).  He stuck close to me all morning, sensing this was a special day for both of us...and hoping treats were involved.  Can't wait to get off work so we can go for an ice cream cone (and he will graciously allow Cloud to tag along and share in the spoils).
