Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Jake is two years old now.Jake has transformed into a wonderful polite male labradoolde. When he was younger he did all the bad things, jumped on our guests, pulled while being walked, play biting us,terrible at staying still while being groomed.Of course we trained him but he always had this wild side that we could not settle down. But as I watch him sometimes I can't believe its my same Jake.He still has his excited moments but have to remember he still is only two.So all you people with young labradooldes just enjoy your puppies because they all grow up someday.

OMGoodness-thank you so much or the encouragement-there is Hope for Hope=my lil 9mo old "MP"~
My own goldendoodle "Jake" arrived as wild as could be at 11 months of age. He is now 3 years old and I could not be any prouder of him with the way he helps me foster doodles.
They sure do grow up fast.... Shelby is 2 years and 3 months and still very full of puppy energy, but she has settled quite a bit. There is hope for all you puppy owners.... I remember those puppy days and the sheer exhaustion I was experiencing - since it was just me and Shelby! Now... she likes to sleep in (until 8:00 or so on the weekend)... much better than 5:30! I wonder what things will be like a year from now,
It amazes me how they change! I love puppies since they are very cute, but they are a lot of work. I think I'm enjoying Monty more now that he is almost two. I feel like I can have a "conversation" with him since he's older. He still has crazy moments, of course. But he is such a good dog....and thinking back, even when he gave me a constant headache for the first few weeks after we brought him home, he still WAS a good puppy.
Jake is adorable! I bet he makes you smile all the time. Good job, Jake!
You are so right, they do grow up. You will be amazed how he will change over the next year. Peri is about to turn 3 and she has calmed so much it is unbelievable. Don't get me wrong, I don't miss the puppy stages, but I do look at her and think "where has the time gone??????"
Happy 2 years to Jake!
Aren't we all happy that puppies don't go thru the "Terrible Two's" at the age of 2!!!! It would make for a very longggg year! Banjo recently turned 2 and he's calmed down so nicely! Still has his crazy times....but just enough to make us laugh. : )
What a good boy Jake!
I'm still waiting to be able to see that about Chloe-she's almost 5 :)
So happy for you and for Jake! I am hoping this can happen with Owen. Owen does make us laugh every single day but he is sooooo naughty! He's easily the naughtiest puppy we have ever had. His big brother was actually the easiest puppy we've ever had so it makes sense, right?
