IT DOES NOT SNOW IN CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA IN OCTOBER!  I'M NOT AMUSED!!!  grrrr I actually hate snow, its work. Clean it up, hope it doesnt make problems to drive.  Today I had to cancel a delivery./  :(

Elizabeth, so sorry about your in-laws. Kinda puts my deck mess in perspective. We didn't lose anything except the flowers.  Amazing lucky.

I can't believe how much snow you guys got!!!! If we got it here in Ontario, it wouldn't be that much of a surprise, but you guys?? This is insanity!!! Hope everyone is staying safe and warm!

Elizabeth, I'm glad your in laws were not hurt. At least here in Nj I think most of the snow is melting away although I lost the top of a tree that has sentimental value. As to Pollyanna and Jane--phooey.

sorry... have to say we nebraskans are enjoying 60degree days. totally unusual. be careful out there. I think the only ones that are happy are the car body shops.

We are New Yorkers now living (hopefully, not for the long term) in MN.  All my friends in NY/NJ/CT think I am laughing at them right now but they are so wrong.  I know what is coming around the corner for us and I am not amused. 

Elizabeth--your in-laws are so blessed to have not been able to sleep.  They are in our prayers while they muddle through this mess.

My inlaws live in central mass.  They called this AM and have a tree full of wet snow in their bedroom..that's right ...a tree fell on their house, went through the roof and is all the way into their basement.  They have no power and can't leave their driveway right now...

 

My in laws couldn't sleep and got up at 1230 this AM.  Thank heavens they were up and on the other side of the house or it would have fallen on both of them...
