Has anyone ever seen the movie Hachi?! OMG I thought Marley and Me was a tear-jerker but it was nothing compared to this! It was a beautiful movie about a dog and the true friendship that dogs give their owners. I have often read on many of your posts that our dogs choose us...we do not choose them. This movie gives new meaning to that statement. I guess technically this is a children's movie.. it's rated G...but to me was a bit mature for little ones. If you haven't seen it, do so...it's adorable, but be ready with a box of tissues. I decided to watch it at about 4am (I apparently no longer sleep at 8 months pregnant lol) and when my husband came out to the living room to check on me, he found me sniffling away hugging our Seamus probably a little too tight. =)

I agree it was beautiful & soooo sad. I will not watch it again, the first time I got such a pain in my chest from crying so much & every time I hear that name I feel like crying again.
Scarface???? LOL!!!! Yes, I would say that is polar opposite! You are so funny!
Oh lordie Lindsay! I am already so emotional being a little over 3 months pregnant - I cannot imagine watching a tear jerker like that! I told DH I wanted a "gangster" movie on Friday night to get me un-emotional, so we watched Scarface! LOL! Sadder than Marley & Me? Oh goodness :)
Its awesome movie and based on a true story, of course I cried like a baby !!!
even thinking about that movie is enough to make me cry (especially when I remember that it was based on a true story)!
I bought this movie for my DD several years ag and I don't think she ever watched it. I guess I should try to find it and watch it myself! It sounds good!
Yup, it is a good one. Tears for sure. The fact that is it true always makes it hit even harder.
It's a true story:
That movie made me turn into a puddle! I cried pretty much the whole second half of the movie..
Yes, it is really an amazing movie, and I felt it was very well done. I cried my eyes out,of course, especially since it was based on a true story. Richard Gere surprises me in the diversity of roles he plays. It was so good.
