Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Unfortunately, Olga and Chloe's adoption of Sully did not work out. It was no fault of Sully who behaved exceptionally well and was a gentleman at all times. It seemed like Chloe had problems with another dog in the family. It was O.K. visiting Sully but when it came to him traveling back to Arizona with Chloe and Olga, Chloe had other ideas....
However, Cindy and Bob Johnson were waiting in the wings and ready to give Sully a furever home. They live in Northern California so, it was easier if I met them a few hours north of San Diego, so they could easily make the drive back home in one day...
I was very happy with the reception Sully got when we met. I was sure that he would behave very well and I hoped that the Johnson's would like Sully as much as I do. My hope seems to have come true. Although I will miss this wonderful and loving doodle, I am sure that he will be living in a loving and safe home...

Great new beginning for Sully!
I hope Sully is finally in his forever home. He is a handsome doodle and deserves a wonderful caring family. I hope the new parents will join DK and keep us posted on Sully's progress.
Great!
I think this will be the right home for Sully. Look at all the smiles. When we added Clancy to our pack, he and our Springer had arguments and we couldn't trust them alone together. This is more common than many owners think, and it takes patience and guidance to overcome. It was scary though.
Thanks for the update. This time the it will stick.
It just takes some of us a little longer to find the place where we belong. :)
Happy tails to you, Sully! May you live happily ever after!
Fingers crossed everything works out and Sully is where he is meant to be!
I agree Cyndi. I'm sorry the other situation didn't work out but this family looks like a good fit for Sully and we sure wish them all the best with this wonderful guy.
I was also wondering how he was doing so thanks for the update. Although there is not a Que Sera, Sera bone in my body, I have come to realize (accept?) that things happen for a reason. Sometimes it takes a while to grasp the reason and others one might not agree it was a good reason, but one none the less. It sounds like this was meant to be. Just took a little longer to get there. Wishes for all the best.
