Licking Hind End

HELP! Sam has been licking his hind end(butt). My husband put some Pederson ointment on and he stopped. There does not seem to be anything visually wrong, no odor. Poor puppy--he is so frustrated. I am going to call the vet today. Any advise is appreciated.

So far no more licking. YEAH. He seems content.

Sam had an anal gland issue and some irritation under his tail near the anus. The vet drained the anal gland, whoooo smelly and said if he still licking tomorrow she will put him on an antibiotic. He just licked a little now. Hopefully that is it.He was such a good boy.

Max was kind of itchy after groomer visit and I bought an aloe vera plant and put some gel on his tummy twice and that was the end of the itchy problem.

Quinn might be itchy if the groomer shaved him on the booty =)

I called the vet and we are going in this afternoon. Might be his anal glancs
