Life Is WONDERFUL Again.................
Meet Gus' new brother Rory he's a 10 month old double doodle 14 hr trip yesterday to get him, he's a love. I've been in such a funk since Bear went over the RB yet I wasn't going to get another dog until Gus was perfectly trained. When I saw Rory aka Percy on petfinder yesterday a.m. Oh his nose (look out JD you have competition) and his eyes I fell in love. He's a wonderful puppy only lost a sheet of paper and a coaster today. Comes when called and sits. I know his "true self" won't come out for a couple weeks but so far so good. Gus and he get along great they keep sharing the antlers and Gus tried his hardest today to teach Rory how to take the cover off the tennis ball. My life is so much happier I'm back to having 2 pups following me wherever I go, I can laugh at them when they play and I can go to bed at night and say "goodnight boys" and Gus' smile is back on his face. Now I have 2 not perfectly trained doodles, but they will be. Gus starts his CGC class this month I'll also sign Rory up for pupppy class.
I'm so happy!

Deirdre, I'm so happy for you. JD won't mind sharing the "nose award" with your new sweetheart...he knows (nose?) how it feels to be rescued from a shelter himself!

Congratulations!:) Did you have to drive all the way to Canyon Lake to get him? Don't worry, I a not a stocker. I know this doodle's owners! They brought a flyer for Percy to our grooming shop. We were trying to get him adopted but i guess he has been adopted now:) We wanted to take him but two doodles are a little too much haha:)
