Lily is here!
Lily came home yesterday! She is so sweet. So far, she is really laid back and easy going, but also curious and confident. Potty training has been great- no accidents as of yet. When Hudson arrived as a puppy it was December, so I'm really liking the fact that going out every 20-30 minutes isn't quite as painful or as difficult (minus all of the winter gear). She slept in her crate last night from 12-7:30 without a whimper. I was surprised (but happy) about that. Hudson isn't so thrilled about her arrival. We took him with us to pick her up and he completely ignored the fact that there was another canine in the car! He has tried playing with her a little today, so hopefully it will get better.

Oh Angie, I'm so happy for you! Now you'll get to experience everything I went through in the not so distant past... again! Yes, I can imagine summertime would be the PERFECT time to get a new puppy. Rainy Oregon winter sure sucked. (Although Lucy was a light on a long run of gloomy days.) I hope you share everything. I'm especially curious how Hudson will take to Lily (love the name, btw). Lucy would be beside herself with joy, of that I'm quite certain. She LOVES to play and a small puppy would be her ultimate plaything. Not so sure she'd like to share attention with her daddy, though.

Congratulations on Lily! We too are going through the addition of a new puppy here, just make sure to give Hudson lots of extra loves and some alone time with you. They'll be the best of friends in no time!
