The door bell rang and it was the 7 year old from next door wanton to know if Teddy could come out and play. Teddy has become the neighbors kids dog too. Teddy just loves them as much as they love him. So glad we have kids so close, because ours are all grown. I wondered if all goldendoodles love children?p

Callie LOVES children too. If they're around, she wants to be with them.

Shelby loves kids too! She is an Austrailan Labradoodle. She also seems to sense that she needs to be more gentle around them! :o)

The kids next door often ring the bell to ask if Jack can come out to play! I don't know who enjoys it more, the kids or Jack! When he sees a stroller coming down the street, his tail starts wagging.
Jack is an LD, not a GD, and he loves kids above all other human beings. But like most other canine characteristics, a love of children is not automatically born in any dog, including doodles. They may be friendlier and naturally better with kids than some other breeds, but they still need to be properly socialized with children in order to end up as a dog who is a kid's best friend.

I know mine does. We don't have kids but all of my younger siblings and my nephew sure come in handy with socialization! That is so cute that the kid wanted to know if he could play. :-)
