Hubby patched up opening in fence keeping Toby exactly where he belongs - at home. I have gone to the area formerly known as "Toby's personal gateway" and have seen paw prints. Ha! No more escape and no more worries for mom on that front. Of course we have had so much snow that he will soon just have to step over the fence..... Lol.

I am sure you are breathing a sigh of relief now that Toby is safe and sound and can't go out for a "stroll" on his own...Happy to hear the good news...

Now Toby can be where he is "suppose" to be:)  Hopefully the snow will not get any higher!  I know, wishful thinking:)

Good to hear! I have an x pen outside to put Cally I'm wheni am doing something in the yard since she is not quite ready for the electric fence and she could clear it with out any effort right now. Luckily it is to cold to do stuff I'm the yard and I have no yard with all the snow, lol!

No kidding about the step over part. I used to have woodchucks in my yard. The bottom of my deer fencing had metal fencing added to keep animals from gnawing the plastic fence. But one year the snow got so high the woodchucks were able to reach the plastic and made holes. The doodles were happy to take advantage of that. I had to have higher metal fencing along the base of the fencing.

Great news about the fence fix, let's hope the snow doesn't get quite that deep! :-)
