Lola's ear infection nightmare...going to the next level....

So poor Lola has had a yeast AND bacterial ear infection for over a month now. We've been cleaning, medicating with a total of three different drops, changed her food (to Orijen!)...and after a rather traumatizing trip to the vet this morning, we've found out she as to go in tomorrow morning to get her ear flushed...and SEDATED!!! Hubby and I almost broke out into tears imagining our poor gorgeous girl being sedated. Just needed to vent a little...hope things go well tomorrow.....

I hope this gets rid of all her problems. She will be fine, a little groggy but hopefully feeling alot better with that ear cleaned out. She may hear you better too. So whisper sweet nothings in her ears when she gets back and give her lots of loving.

Poor Lola!! I hope this turns the trick and lets her live ear infection free! Sedation is scary indeed, but I bet she pulls through like a champ!!

I used to have a lot of problems with ear infections until a breeder recommended"Thornit"...an old fashioned ear powder...you can find lots of info on the web and it can be ordered from Champion Pets in England...comes very quickly...once I started using Thornit as a weekly preventative all my ear problems have vanished and thats after 3 operations to clean out deep seated infections and numerous rounds of antibiotics etc

Awww! Poor Lola. I hope she feels better soon. I hope that this is the end to her ear infections. I am not sure if Huff's ear infection is gone or not but it seems better. I hope it is gone though:) Good luck:)
