Lola's ear infection....

So we're going in to the vet's (for about the 10th time this month) in about 20 min (he works literally 5min from our house...VERY convenient), and we can't wait to hear him say "ALL CLEAR, MISS. LOLA!!" Yes, he has his own personal nickname for Lola...no one else calls her that :)

From what I can see, and smell, she seems to be all clear of the mounds of wax she had stored in there...but without my own otoscope (which I may look into getting...) who's to know.

Protein source might make a difference.  We found that for our dog who gets frequent ear infections fish-based protein seemed to contribute to on-going problems.

we just really feel bad for her. This can't feel good, and being invaded in the ear several times a day can't feel good, either!!! We're giving her load of hugs and kisses, and she's keeping us up a few times a night with the new addition of the Vanectyl!!!! My poor baby!! Thanks everyone for your love and support!

WTD is happening inside those poor ears???? I am so sorry to hear that things have still not cleared up. Poor Lola and you must be frustrated out of your mind!!  Don't give up-there has to be a solution to this!!

I am sorry that Lola's ears are still not clear.  Dogs who get ear infections often - I just feel so badly for them.

oh noo....I just read your comment about Chloe's bump on the forum. Poor dear!!!! I'm sure she'll be fine...just try to think positive thoughts. It's such a hard thing when you can't do anything for them...all you can do is love them (and pay for the bills) and hope that's enough. Keep us posted on poor Chloe.
