Losing My Mind

[Laurie, Fudge, and Vern]

I think I am spending too much time on Doodle Kisses. Last night, in the middle of the night, I was taking Vern and Fudge out and Vern bolted out the door. Luckily, he is a little velcro guy and just stood there, but I could not remember his name. I was yelling "here Banjo". I have also called him Murphy, Norm, and what's his name. I am hoping I am just sleep deprived and not losing my mind.

I called him Bonzai this morning and that is my daughter's dog's name. He is a good little sleeper, so not sure how long I can use that excuse. From the sound of it, I am not alone in the mixing up names department.

That is so funny. I call Murphy "Guinness" and Guinness "Murphy" so often that they now both answer to either name.

It's "New Momma Brain" -- I've called my baby Natalie by Rosco's name. I've said "good dog" to her...oh it's ridiculous. I can't keep track of all my children!

I'm glad Vern was a good boy and didn't run off!
I call my grandson "Jack" quite often! (His name is Jacob.)

LOL That is too funny!! Sometimes I call my kids Tori and Tori my kids' names - I've yet to use one of our DK friends' names! Get some much needed sleep tonight! LOL

I call my human kids the doodles names and vice versa! None of them are happy when that happens but Oh Well!

LOL Sometimes I call Lilly my grand-daughters name or my old dogs name, either way she still comes. I'm afraid it's going to get worse the older we get =))

Laurie I think of my mind as a computer it just gets a little virus now and then I often call the dog by my son's name especially when he is doing something he shouldn't be. Luckily we have built in virus scan and it all gets put right. I work night shifts and yes sleep deprivation will do that to you.
