Mine & Peri's 2 Year Doodleversary

2 years ago Peri came home to us.  I took the week off work to spend time getting her used to our home and her little brother Taquito.  We were up in the middle of the night taking her out, calming her down, potting training her, walking her in strollers to prevent sickness, etc...you all know the puppy drill!  It's a little overwhelming.

 

Fast forward 2 years and what do I have?  The most loving companion I could ask for.  A doodle with the title "Canine Good Citizen".  A girl who knows it is time to get off our bed and go to her bed at bedtime.  A lady that can be left unattended, yes, I said unattended, and UNCRATED when we leave the house!!  A wonderful little sister to a chihuahua.  A girl so full of life she still gets the zoomies and I TREASURE them. She is just the best companion ever.  I love her so much and cannot imagine life without her. 

 

Anyway, I have been out of touch lately due to hectic work and home life, but I did want to check in and say Happy Doodleversary to Lady P and also to thank you all for your support these past 2+ years :)  Because of you, I made it through her puppyhood and picked up some good pointers on raising her.  My boss just brought home a lab puppy and I gave him pointers on crating, potty training, etc...they are using them all and things are much better.  That is due to DK my friends!!

We are loving the new house!  THanks for asking.  Really need a fence, just saving up for that (1/2 acre backyard...geez...).

Tonight some girlfriends are coming over and she will get lots of attention from them :)
