Mixing dry and wet dog food

I have recently heard it is good to mix dry and wet dog food. Healthier for the dogs. Does anyone do this?. I know I have seen Ceasar MIlan feed both. My dogs eat dry dog food only.

Thanks for the input. Myn puppies eat a high quality dog food. I plan to stick to the dry. Thay are both healthy and happy.

I actually do the same as Ann and for the same reasons. I also have never heard of it being good or bad, but if you add raw in the mix then you need to be careful. Raw apparently digests differently so should not be fed with dry.

There's a food group with answers to almost any food question! But to answer this one, no. If you are feeding a high quality dry food, and the dogs are eating enough, you shouldn't need to supplement with wet food. Of course, everyone might have a different answer for you, but it all depends on your dogs and what's best for them!
