Move over Disney World, we have Doodle World....

Or so it seems, anyway! Today I saw not one, not two, not three, but FOUR doodles in the span of 1 hour, and not all in the same place, either. I don't know if it's the same phenomenon as when you learn a new word and suddenly you see and hear it everywhere, or if the popularity of this breed is just rising dramatically, but I had never seen so many doodles in one day when it wasn't a planned event. Two were at Panera's outside with their family. SO sweet! The labradoodle I was petting was leaning her head into my legs as I pet her and just wagging her tail like a loon! lol! The other one they had was doing the same for my Mom.

Then, driving we saw a goldendoodle sticking his head out the window of the car next to us. He looked like he was having a blast!

And the fourth was being walked in my Aunt's subdivision.

Add those to the fact that my neighbor down the street has a goldendoodle puppy...from the same breeder that my puppy's sire came from....and it feels like I've been transported to Doodle World today!

It makes me excited to see so many for a couple of reasons, not least of which is with more doodles in the area more groomers, vets, and trainers will be better versed in the care and temperament of doodles. Plus, of course, it heightens my anticipation and excitement of getting my own baby in a month and a half.

But seriously, IS the popularity of the doodle breed growing so quickly? Or am I just looking for them more?

Whichever the case may be, they bring a smile to my face just seeing them. =0)
