Murphy is the first one in!!!

We started filling the pool this morning and altho it's going to be another 12 hours or more, I just couldn't wait any longer to let Murphy jump in. It's about 2-3 feet deep and he just jumped off the step like he's been doing it his whole life.

Bella on the other hand has not quite figured out what all this is just yet. She followed Murphy in without thinking and when she realized she was in water and it was up to her neck, she jumped back out like it was on fire. Then just decided to bark at Murphy to warn him of the scary wet stuff that's now in thier yard.

This is going to be so fun!

 

I hope to get a video soon as Murphy is just such a ham in the water. And SO fun to play with. I bought him his own raft today. Yes he floats too. Such a hoot.

Darling photos!!  Stuart is my swimmer and Rooney just runs around the edge and he also attacks when Stuart gets out.  I think Rooney is jealous of our attention in the pool but not enough to get in there and get it for himself!

There is a previous video of little Rusty in California surfin on his raft in the pool.  It sounds like Murphy will be quick to learn.  Looks like a great pool.

I took our dogs swimming once in a pool at the doggie daycare. Vern loved the water like your Murphy and Fudge did just what Bella did....stood on the sideline and barked. When Vern would get out she would wrestle with him, like she was saying, "I told you not to go in that water." You are so lucky and you are going to have so much fun in that cool pool!!!!
