I was SO excited when I found out that I won the Les Poochs brush in the Pet Flow contest! I have been wanting one for so long but honestly I've never been able to justify the cost. It was exactly the prize I would choose to win, I can't even say how happy I was.
It came in the mail from Kemp (thanks for the advice on which brush Kemp!!) and I immediately took it out and started brushing Darwin. I was skeptical that it would be that much better than our current slicker (15 dollar MGT) but it was WAAAAY better. It literally took me half as much time and got all the way down to the skin, no trouble getting through the matts! With my old brush I'd have to go through 2 or 3 times, and use a fine toothed comb. This got all of those, easily, and so easy to get through them! Darwin had no issue whatsoever with the brush. I am just so over the moon that I finally have one, it's going to make brushing so much easier. Yay!
I did some comparison shots of his old brush and the new Les Poochs. Excuse the hair in the Les Poochs, I forgot to clean it out before I took the photos. :-)
the MGT, notice the short bristles.
And the Les Poochs. Look at those lovely long tines and double width. Sigh, I think I'm in love. LOL

I'm so glad that you won and got what you needed! You always keep Darwin's coat is great shape and I know you'll put the brush to good use!!
Congratulations on the win and best wishes to you and your new love! LOL
And agreed, your help is incredible just like your new brush!
WAY JEALOUS!!!!!! But happy for you. :0)
Congrats Camilla and have fun using it! I'm sure Darwin is just as happy as you are:)
Congrats! Never saw the double brush before but my purple Les pooches gets a regular workout as I am a home groomer for 15 doodles! Some of them are small dogs, so I like the having the smaller brush.
Camilla, thank you for the good word on the Les Poochs brush!
I'm so glad the brush is working well for Darwin's beautiful coat. Congratulations on winning the contest! :-)
Best wishes,
Kemp
I am so happy that you love that brush, good things come to good people. I have been very tempted to get one but they are expensive, but it's the high shipping cost for one brush that stopped me. With the cost of the brush and the shipping, it's a lot of money to shell out for something that may or may not work for us. I think Quincy's coat may be similar to Darwin's so I may have to rethink this. I want to see a pic of fluffier Darwin. :>)
Congrats Camilla...
.I would love to get one of these for Bailey but I am still not sure what type to get. Her hair is more golden ret. but it has a really thick under coat that can get matted as it gets longer in the winter when I keep her coat longer...
I'm so glad you and Darwin are loving these new brushes!
