Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Hi! Laney again! Many of you are wondering how old I am, so I'll tell you. I'm eleven. My dog is two, almost three. Anyway, I want to let you guys know about Tucker at his doggy day care. Well, since I just started middle school, my mom couldn't drive me and my sister to two different schools and go to work before 8:30 and keep Tucker in a kennel all day. I don't believe in doggies being locked up all day, and my mom even feels sorry for him. So, the best idea was to move closer to my school. After a LONG time we FINALLY built our house and moved. I like our new house. I am typing in it right now! I can take the bus while my mother takes my little sister to elementary school. Every morning when my mom leaves, I take those few extra minutes to turn up my music loud and and dance around with Tucker. Now, when I get up early (which is about never) my mommy has time to take Tucker to Diamond Doggy Day Care. Day care is where Tucker can splosh around in the pool, play with hundreds of other dogs, get lots of treats from Dodey (the owner of doggy day care). If you would let me brag for a moment, then I will! Mommy came home with Tucker after work and picking him up for doggy day care. Then she told me something that made me feel like the luckiest doodle owner in the WORLD. She said, "Dodey told me something special today when I went to pick up Tucker from doggy day care. She said that the most beautiful doodle at day care was Tucker."
Tucker's perspective: Beautiful? ME? Really? Oh gosh! I feel so happy! I love Laney and Mommy and Kate and I am woofing so fast that I can't even hear myself think and oh my gosh Laney is holding something! I hope it's a treat and I am so excited and funny and awesome and fuzzy and goofy! Everybody loves me! Nobody doesn't love me! WOOF! I think Laney has something! Oh my goodness is it a...MILK BONE. Be calm Tucker. You can do it. Come on, sit. Laney said sit. Lay down? Aw, okay. I'm not doing this for Laney. Only for the treat. She's walking toward me. THUMP! THUMP! THUMP! That's either the sound of my heart beating or my tail wagging. She hands me the treat. SLURP! Oh gee! Time for doodle kisses! OH! I LOVE YOU LANEY! BARK!
Laney: Tucker I didn't know you could type!
Tucker: Well, bye bye! I love Lan...MILK BOOONE.

Laney, I think its really important that you continue to write. Write a lot, about whatever you feel like, and keep notes on ideas that inspire you. You have a very creative mind and the world will want to hear your stories!
