Yeah, yeah. My puppy was just born. I am soooo excited. I read Patty Barnes' everyday because I know she has a couple litters ready to "hatch". I've had a deposit in for a couple of months. I checked today and Bindi (Willie Nelson is dad) just had her first little of six puppies. And I get one. . . a girl. All sold already, of course. Poor Adina, honey, I know you are still waiting. It is torture, I remember!! Any name suggestions for a mini Australian apricot or red doodle girl. Soon I will really be part of the doodle gang!!!!!!!!!!

I have a red minidoodle! Her name is Matilda. We call her Mattie. But there are lots of great names and i am sure you will think of one. Topaz is the birthstone for November--that makes a cool name for a dog! I think you really have to have the dog in your arms to come up with a name...something that fits her. When I got my second dog, she already had a name, Lyric. I didn't like it and planned to rename her--but when I met her, it really fit her personality and we kept it. Have fun anticipating!

Oh and I see you are getting a mini - you are going to love the size of a mini! We have a mini goldendoodle - right at 20 pounds at 7 months. She is awesome.

This is exciting! I like a lot of the names already suggested. Sooky is pretty darn cute!

Wow, I'm so excited for you! Hopefully you'll get pictures from the breeder...please post them. The next few weeks are going to go by soooo slow for you. The reds are so incredibly beautiful. Here are a few cute Australian dog names: Talia (water), Sooky (animal who is soft or tame), Kiah (beautiful place), Kora (companion), Karri (eucalyptus tree).
