Phil and I ran off for a “Parent’s Escape” weekend for the fourth of July holiday. DD stayed home to take care of all the four-footed children. This was the first time we left Harlow since she joined our family in May. DD is a bit of a scardie-cat and we wondered how she would do at home by herself. After we came home she told us that she slept on the family room couch with all the outdoor (and most of the indoor) lights turned on and the security system enabled. DD convinced Harlow to sleep on the couch with her and the Boys to sleep on the love seat close by.

While we were away DD found two more baby teeth, both back teeth. When we left on Thursday Harlow’s bottom canines were coming in pushing the baby ones out. Last night I checked her bite and the baby canines are gone; replaced by two shiny adult ones. Now her upper canines have broken through. Harlow is teething like crazy and has added replacing kitchen baseboard to our “ToDo” List.

Well, look on the bright side - no more needle teeth! Gus and Molly are just beginning their teething stage, their gums are swollen. I guess that's one plus to living in an unfinished house - we don't have baseboards yet!
