The First Very Long Ride Home from the Breeder (12 hours)

- About Me:
- My husband Mike and I live in a log home that was built as a shell; we are in the process of finishing the interior ourselves. We have 2 grown kids and 1 granddaughter. It has been 3 years since our golden retriever Katie passed. We were in Atlanta for most of the time since then, but are home to stay now, and we can't wait to get our new doodle pups!
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- We have two F1 Goldendoodles, born April 1, 2009, Gus and Molly. We also have an 8-yr-old female cat, KitKat, who is solid white and has 1 green eye and 1 blue eye.
- Where did you get your doodle(s)?
- Breeder
- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- We love golden retrievers, but hate the shedding! We've had 2 "mutts" that we LOVED, but they were riddled with health problems and ended up costing many thousands of dollars, not to mention the heartbreak. So goldendoodle pups from a responsible breeder seemed the best fit for us. They are SO ADORABLE!! How can anyone resist?
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- Playing in the snow, cuddling, playing fetch (with Molly, Gus does not like to fetch), going for rides, hiking our trails.
- Does your doodle(s) shed?
- A little bit but nothing major
- Who grooms your doodle(s)?
- I do.
- Favorite Doodle Products?
- Skineez, any kind of ball, bullysticks (or "chewies" as we call them).

Totally Unrelated to Doodles, But I Think It's Cool

Hi all, this is my very first blog post. My husband Mike took this picture from our front porch, and I just wanted to share it with you. I think it's a great shot! On another off-topic topic, the other day I witnessed two baby spiders playing with each other. I'm scared of spiders, but when I saw this it gave me a whole new perspective on the little critters. How have you been? How are Gus and Molly doing? OMG I just saw poor Molly's picture, is she OK????
This dog is such a ham. Got some cute ones this weekend with goggles. Hope to post up here soon. Can you believe this,,,more snow on the way to TN. This would be our third measureable snow in the last four weeks. Insanity. 60% chance on Christmas Eve and 40% for Christmas Day. Your card was very beautiful...very classic. You could probably sell that to Hallmark. Have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. xoxoxox
