Now I know why I don't feed Holly kibble...

As I was cleaning out a puppy pen today, I put their bowl of kibble on the bed. Wrong move! When I turned around for the bowl, there was an empty bowl and my doodle up on the bed.

Later this evening, Holly began to wretch. Luckily I got her off the bed because she deposited a load of undigested kibble on the floor which fortunately is tile....

That's why I don't feed her kibble and stick to the much more expensive raw food diet.

Tori used to do this too... We give her canned food - sometimes with kibble in it, but she really doesn't like it, so so now kibble is her treats that I put in her kong ball and plastic dice - treat dispenser- they fall out slower than she can gobble and I can hear her CHEWING them. Wonder why they tend to inhale kibble.

Donna ~ that's so funny that you mentioned a bowl for your son... we have one under each bed, just in case - still. I think my boys are old enough to 'make it' to the bathroom, but just in case! LOL I definitely know "that sound" you speak of - causes me to run like heck whenever i hear it - and I know just where to find Troi then... under her safe haven - the dining room table - YUCK! (but at least it's on the floor!)

You're lucky you got her off your bed in time. Quincy likes to upchuck on a nice soft surface too, his most recent offering was on the living room couch. He decided to give back the acre of grass he ate the day before. He usually makes such awful noised before he throws up that it gives us time to catch it. We used to have a throwup pan for my son when he was little now we have one for the dog.

And I feed expensive kibble because anything else, causes mine to 'upchuck' = funny how their stomachs accept or reject foods.
