Obnoxious? Who? Ollie? No way.

So I had an important Skype call and decided it best for Ollie to go to play care for the afternoon...so he wouldn't try and eat my computer screen or something. Well I got Ollie loaded up, dropped him off, and went about my day. I had the Skype call and then went to go pick him up. He was there about 4 hours. 

This was Ollie's first experience at playcare. We have done stays at friends houses and have been to the dog park, so I knew he would be just fine, but I was still curious as to what they would say about him...

They said he had a lot of dogs to play with and I asked how he did, they said he had a lot of energy and played with any dog that would let him. Then they went as far as to say that he was...Obnoxious!

My Ollie...obnoxious? This just does not add up. My sweet, little, cuddly, calm Ollie obnoxious? They must have had him confused for another dog...

Seriously, though, I think my feelings would have been a little hurt, especially if that's his 1st time there!  I would have asked them specifically what he did that would classify him as "obnoxious."

Doris - I believe Ollie learned it all from Knox...that early development over Christmas must have done it :)

Carol- I know right? Every time I see Banjo I think of Ollie. They aren't identical, but they do have some really close characteristics! From the sounds of they have similar personalities too!

Right? I thought it was rather humorous actually. Ollie, obnoxious? what? :) He just likes to enjoy life. I think we can learn from our doods.

Yes, Jane, Peri goes to "time out" when she is obnoxious, but they would NEVER tell me she is obnoxious!!!  Love it!  I am cracking up.

I agree, they must be confused. He is a very enthusiastic boy...hmmm. He feels misunderstood, I'm sure of it. It's not his fault that the other dogs are lame-o and just want to lay around during play time. Weirdos. 

Slander. It is true...they must be out to ruin his good name.

WTD?  I'm shocked that the Daycare Worker would ever say something like that (even if he was, which we all know is not the case).  That is just not very smart.  At our Daycare we grade the Doods' behavior by whether or not they needed any "time outs".  There's a separate little area called the "dog house" where the naughty pups go to calm down.  Needless to say, Murph knows his way around the "dog house".  Anyway, I agree that this is slander, and I'm not "buying it".  I'd be looking for a new Daycare that appreciates Ollie.

Haha...Peri is "obnoxious" when she goes to daycare too. I think they would enjoy playing together :)
