So yesterday I received notice that they would be testing the fire alarms "sometime after 11am" (what does that even mean?) in my apartment complex. Well, being that Ollie stays home (crated) while I work, and that he has never heard fire alarms before and he is a scaredy dood, I decided that Ollie needed to go on an adventure to my office. Most people in my office were going to be gone today and so it seemed like a perfect time to test it out. :) He did great. He barked a couple times when he heard other office doors shut, but for the most part, he was a very well mannered boy.

I work at a church as the Director of Children's Ministries and on Wednesday nights we have TWEENS (5th and 6th graders) which Ollie attended as well. He did such a great job with all the kiddos. He jumped up a little, but besides that he was just awesome. They absolutely loved him and vice versa (I feel like Ollie is a Tween in how he behaves).

He is now completely tuckered out (now he knows how I feel) on the sofa next to me. Hopefully we will be able to do this more often!

That's a great set of smiles! Work would be so much more fun if you could bring your dood with you all the time.

I thought it was pretty funny when he turned out to be smiling too :)

I would looove to bring him everyday. When I first got him I asked if I could and they said no (which was weird b/c it was them who originally said I should, but then changed their minds). Today there was only one person who I thought might not like him being there, but she seemed to not really care. I think I will start bringing him on random Wednesdays for Tweens and see if anyone really cares.

I guess the main problem is that all of us own dogs and they won't want 20 dogs at church, but I agree that it is a very positive thing. He changes my mood and helps me relax more.

By the way, there has been a research done on the positives of bringing your dog to work. I stronly belive it!

Yeah, talk about dog-owner look alikes. I love your smiles. I just LOVE when people bring their dogs to work. It seems to me that you have a PERFECT job to take Ollie with you all the time.
