One of those days!!

I woke up this morning with High expectations for myself. I have classes starting tomorrow so I wanted to cook and freeze a variety of meals and most importantly make the cookie recipe that was supplied by Tessa Ellie and Wheezy awhile back for Amante. Went to store forgot my list so therefore forgot a few ingredients. After 4 Lasagna's, 2 meatloaves, 200 meatballs, 2 gallons of homemade sauce and 24 stuffed peppers, I was ready for Amante's treats. First, forgot applesauce. Went to the store bought applesauce. Second, coconut flakes turned out to be expired so back to the store I went. Third, went to get out wax paper only 4 inches worth on the roll. Off again to supermarket, Finally everything is mixed and in ball. Go to look for my rolling pin, what rolling pin? Rolling pin has disappeared. Call my brother and ask him did you take my rolling pin his answer "why should I take your rolling pin, I just come and take stuff after you make it!" My answer Smart A$$!!. Finally get really aggravated, put dough in fridge and locked myself in my room!!!! Poor Amante, no new doggie cookies for him today!!

I'm exhausted just reading about all you've made. Took me 4 hours yesterday to make sauce and lasagna for 4. You must have one heck of a freezer too!!

Possibly you used it to beat the crap out of your brother when he took the cabbage rolls!  :o)  I too have to say this is very impressive.  This is more cooking than I do in an entire year (unless you count warming up SmartOnes Lazagna in the microwave).

... and people wonder why I don't cook.  Your story illustrates just one of the many reasons!  (The fact that I hate dirty hands and don't know how to cook are two other big reasons!)

I thank you all for the rolling pin alternative ideas!!!!! I think I was tired so I just gave up!! I went to store and bought a new rolling pin, WTD Making Amante treats today!!!!

OMD. I would be so happy if I managed to get one batch of lasagna made. You are a power-house! I say pat yourself on the back and take a nap. Hoping you love your classes. (You can use a glass for a "rolling pin".)

You need an alarm in your kitchen or something to scare off the intruder! Good answer from brother! That was a lot of trips to the store, I'm sure the treats will get made, you just had a long day.
