One Year Ago Today...

(I know, I've done 3 blog posts in the last week. But it's been an eventful week.)

One year ago today, we brought Darwin home. I was so torn between excitement that I FINALLY had my own dog, and being terrified that I had made the wrong decision. What if I wasn't ready? What if something happened to him? The first couple of weeks were tons of fun, and very stressful. I remember wondering what he would be like in a year.

Well, it's been a year, and I couldn't have wished for a better dog. He has fit into our lives wonderfully. DH and I truly can't figure out how we lived without him. He's goofy, cuddly, loving, and totally perfect. Well, not PERFECT. :-) He has his stubborn side, and he's a total PIG, but we couldn't love him more.

Darwin was a real sweetie both 'then' and 'now.' He sure is a real keeper.

Awe, Camilla! He's such a cutie... I LOVE that your DH is wearing the same outfit - minus the backpack- in the top two pictures and the way Darwin is sitting in the two bottom ones.... VERY clever! He looks so big in the second walking photo! I love how white his hair is and one more thing - LOVE the cut!!!
