Our first play in the snow :)

My Vegas desert dogs finally got a chance to play in real snow! We drove up to Mt Charleston and had a ball. We were supposed to go as a little group, but somehow got seperated. We had a great time anyways, we will have to try the group thing again :) I need to play a little with the camera, as some pics of the dogs themselves were a little dark, maybe due to the reflection of the snow. Buddy also had a habit of plopping down in the shade...... We will definitely do this again!

Hi Gina,

Love these photo's of Buddy and Kona. They truly look like they are have the time of there lives there. I've got to find some snow at the right time. We tried to get up to our little mountains here in San Diego and the line was off the freeway a mile long. We ended up turning around. We got a couple of inches yesterday but the kids are in school and they would be so mad at me if I took Bear and not them too. :) It will be melted by the weekend. It did cross my mind though.

I hear you will be coming out to Bev and Willy's when Adina is down. Looking forward to seeing you, Kona, and Buddy again.

The first snow is sooo fun! I remember our first BIG snow...the dogs had a BLAST. And for once I could see Thule in the yard at night (since she was black and all). You got great pics and it looks like they had a ball.

You are so lucky, you have the best of both worlds. You can drive somewhere, let the doodles play, and go home to no shovelling, no iceballs on doodle legs, and no melted snow all over the house!

Amazing photos of Buddy and Kona. I would love to get actions shots like you did if Gracie Doodle. We too her up to Julian to the snow but ours was no where as powdery and deep as yours. You got the photos I have always dreamed of getting of Gracie. Have you joined the Photography Group? If not...you need to so you can share your good photo knowledge with us all. Hope you get back up this way again soon so we can all meet up again at Laguna Beach!!

They look like they had a blast. I know our two love playing in the snow. Even better after going in and out throughout the day and wiping/drying them each time they actually ended up cleaner than when they started.
