This past week we were SO lucky to be able to head to St. George for our spring break! It was a much needed vacation, and it was SO amazing to pull into town and have it be above 60 degrees!
When we left Salt Lake it was in the 40's so it was awesome to feel warm! We immediately changed into shorts when we got into our hotel room, which had palm trees out the window!
We spent the first couple of days swimming, soaking up sun, eating out, and just relaxing! Then we went to Zion National Park which was gorgeous! It was the perfect weather, not too crowded, and we even got to see some deer really close up at the end!
Because National Parks aren't dog friendly, we left Darwin with the in-laws. We didn't want him to be cooped up in the hotel. Luckily the in-laws are great with Darwin and have a fenced in yard so they make sure to take him out for lots of play sessions. After 5 days of sun, relaxing and fun, we were excited to get back!
As awesome as the trip was, nothing beats coming home to this.
Looks like he missed us as much as we missed him!
We took him out for one last game of fetch before dark. Now he's sleeping at my feet, I missed my furry guy!

Camilla, I am so glad you had a wonderful vacation, but isn't it always nice to come home to our dogs? Your photos are amazing, as usual.

Your photos are beautiful!!!! That Darwin is adorable!
Glad that you shared your good time with the rest of us. Darwin..... ah Darwin, he looks so happy with his big doodle smile, and his backyard stick. I'm sure knowing you were back made him relax and say "Life is good!"
What a wonderful vacation and thanks for sharing all of your beautiful pictures with us. I'm sure Darwin was as happy to see you, as you were to see him. Nothing like coming home to your Doodle:)
Nothing better than returning home to our furry friends. Awesome photos.
Glad that you enjoyed your mini vacation, I was thrilled yesterday when we hit 50 degrees for a few minutes. Your picture are wonderful and the area is just beautiful.
Great travelog. And all the pictures as you know are terrific but those of Darwin are simply the best. He must have been overjoyed!
