GIRL!!!!  We are so thrilled!!!  I had this deep-down feeling, call it mother's intuition I guess, that it would be a girl.  I had vivid dreams seeing her and they turned out to be correct!

 

Best of all, she looks to be healthy.  All vital organs, brain, blood flow, etc..looks great.  And tech said she is stubborn because she refused to move much.  All DH said to that was "just like her mother!" - I laughed it off because thankfully, he caught me while I was on a high :)

 

I am exactly 20 weeks, halfway there and honestly, it scares me a bit.  But it will all work out.  We had friends come over last night to reveal the gender and an 11 week old was there. Peri licked her all over and sat next to her all night.  She is going to be such a wonderful "nanny" to her little sister, who we are naming CHARLOTTE.

Congrats Allison....I am so happy for you. I am the mother of an only child and she is a girl!!!!! Girls are so much fun (not that boys aren't but I can't relate). My DD is currently "trying", and  of course I would be happy with a grandson but secretly I would love for her to have a girl first!!!!

Lauria - Charlotte is a family name, but kinda far back!  It was my grandmother's grandmother's name. She was Charlotty and went by Lottie!

Congratulations Allyson!  I am so excited for you...and I love the name Charlotte!  Is Charlotte a family name or did you just love the name, or????  I am always interested in how people decide on names.  If I had ever had children, Charlotte was on my "girl's name list", along with a few others that I also felt drawn to.
