Back in March on a business road trip to Western WA I got to have dinner with Jordan's mom, Tante and although I took a few pics, it was only tonite that I managed to remember AND find my camera cord (since I had forgotten to put a memory card in my camera--my brain was just totally missing that night) so I could extract the photos. Adina is right. (Father was a crazy french man) My Moms husband could not say my name (Gaetane = Gayton) he would say Gaytont. My siblings would tease me. I became Tont. I also became a Tante (Aunt in French) at 15 when my sister had my nephew. So now I am Tante with friends and family.

Jordan was in love with Rosco...she just needed room to run with him and have him chase her.Than she would of stopped her growls. We should of when to the DP that was very near by and let them play.

This Tante is French in origin and I think it's just "Tont"...but you better ask her to be sure =)

Jordan and Roscoe would make a beautiful couple! LOL!! I love the name Tante (it means Auntie in German -- though I am not sure the spelling is the same - and in German it is pronounces Tunteh). I read the name Tante to be pronounced Tantay?. How is it pronounced and the origin?
