Poor Sophie

Poor Sophie had surgery today. She went in at 8:30 this morning and was ready to come home at 1:00. She had pre-anesthetic bloodwork, her nails trimmed, microchipped and the spaying. Everything went smoothly. Her incision had a tiny bit of bleeding but looks really good. She is still really groggy right now! Not interested in eating but drinking a little with encouragement. Poor baby. She is still so good natured and sweet. She always hangs with us in the family room or follows me from room to room but tonight she went upstairs to bed on her own. Hope she feels better tomorrow. Wish I could explain to her why we had this done.

It took Achilles a day or two then he was his old self again! And I had trouble keeping him still.

It is hard that they don't understand but I like to think that they somehow know we have their best interest at heart and they most certainly forgive. Speedy recovery.

Speedy recovery for Sophie, Teddi is scheduled to be spayed next Thursday, I'm really nervous for her too, they are our babies! Keep us updated on how she makes out and you take care too. : )

Sophie will feel better tomorrow, and by Sunday you will be struggling to keep her from running around. Sleep is good for her right now. Hugs to you both, it's probably harder on us than it is on them!
