Sophie's New Doctor

After our last Vet experience, I wanted to find a clinic with a little higher standards and a lot closer to home. So I asked all my dog-loving friends and was referred by several to a clinic in a nearby small town. I checked them out online and made an appointment. Sophie's feet had not gotten any better and in fact were more tender and sort of soupy looking between her pads. Also she had a slight rash on her abdomen. I was concerned that these things had not resolved with the grooming and removal of all the matted hair.

We were able to get an appointment quickly. The clinic was in a convenient location. It was clean, modern and very nice. Doctor B was wonderful - very attentive, very knowledgeable. Sophie and I loved her. She gave us great advice and prescribed medications. What a nice change. We made an appointment for spaying after Dr. B told us all the special precautions they take during surgery.

Three days later Dr. B called me to follow up on Sophie's progress. It shouldn't be that amazing but we have never had this kind of attention before. We LOVE Dr B.

Sophie's feet are much improved and the rash is all gone. She goes for spaying Friday!!

I really was amazed at how Dr. B. earned our trust almost immediately. If anyone lives in our area I am happy to share the name of our friend and the clinic where she works. I was so shocked when she called, it took me a minute to realize who she was. I sent an email to the clinic manager today telling them how happy I was with our visit and the follow up.
