Proud of Holly and Sophie and their Sporn Double Leash

Holly and Sophie, our beautiful chocolate Labradoodle foster, made me very proud last evening.  I took both of them to the Escondido "Cruisin Grand" car show.  I had these wonderful girls on a Sporn Double Dog Leash

The Sporn double leash allows me to adjust the lead so I can have a shorter section attached to Holly's collar and a longer section attached to Sophies collar, since Sophie is the shorter of the two doodles.

 

The leash worked wonderfully and these two girls were magnificent.  People would say, "look at those two dogs, aren't they well behaved!"  Holly, (at 60-pounds) is half again Sophies size (40-pounds).  Holly is a light buff color while Sophie is a dark chocolate.  They really looked great together and behaved marvelously. One lady came running out of a restaurant to ask "What kind of dogs are they?  They are beautiful!"

 

Using the Sporn Double Leash, I had no trouble manuevering these two girls around the crowded sidewalks.  Of course, the fact that both girls are really mellow and each is well lead trained helped too!  They never got tangled up and I was able to lead them through tight masses of people.

 

If you want to walk two dogs, especially if the are different sizes, try the Sporn Double Leash.  I got mine for $2.00 from Big Lots but, the $5.00 online price for this well made unit is quite reasonable.
