Quincy's Mini Vacation

We went on a weekend trip to visit my Grandma and Grampa and for Mom and Dad to attend a family wedding. It was a long car ride, almost 6 hours but we stopped often and Mom made me really comfortable in the back seat. She even gave me a pillow to lay on because I like to lay up against the door and Mom didn't think I looked very comfortable. We didn't have a lot of time but Mom managed to get me to pose for a few pictures. I was a really good boy and met a lot of new people. I even met people from Florida and Holland that were touring the area. The name of the place we went is called Twillingate, it is a very old fishing community that was founded by the French a long time ago. People come from all over the world to visit here because it is very pretty and a great place to see whales and icebergs.

I stayed home alone while everyone was at the wedding but because it was close by Mom came home to check on me a couple of times, just to make sure I was being a good boy at Grandma's house. I was. The only thing I did was scare Grandma when I jumped into her bed while she was sleeping.

I am hoping we can go back again in a couple of weeks when Mom gets some vacation time. Here are a couple of pictures my Mom took of me.

Hey Quincy...even though you didn't go to the wedding it looks like you had a great time. Looks like a fun place for Doodles to go on vacation. My parents left me at my dog ranch while they were out of town for 7 days and now I am currently in a cage at the Vet waiting for surgery on my paw to remove two fox tails that have worked their way up inside my paws. While I am out they are cleaning me teeth too!. I am currently a very unhappy Doodle and will have to wear the "cone of shame" when I come home this afternoon. Momma is very sad and concerned about me.

Quincy, my Mom always says that you're a "spectacular" Doodle. I don't know what that means, but I know it's a good thing. Sounds like you had a really fun vacation, and you sure were a good boy.
