'R' rated blog post!!
A question that I have as a dog 'first timer' is this....What is up with Ollie humping his stuffed dog? He has been doing this since we got him home. Is it a dominance thing? Is this common behavior? He does it only to this one stuffed dog named "fluffy". A high energy play time seems to send him into that humping mode. Is it a stress reliever of sorts? It is quite funny for us to watch but we hide the toy when we have company to prevent embarrassment! My 5 and 9 year old daughters call it doggy dance...."Look mommy! Ollie is dancing with Fluffy"..."Ummm...yes darlings! That is exactly it."...lol!

Just saw Rua's video. Too funny. Laughed my head off! Ollie does that too. He has landed on his head a few times as well.

Bandit does this to Rosey, but only when he is really excited. I have never seen Rosey do this to any dog!

I really don't know how dogs pick their "mates", but it happens at the dog park we go to also. There is one puppy who everyone humps. He (yep a boy) seems to turn everyone on. Loved the video.

Dori, that "other" discussion will live in Rua history forever!!!!! It was just too funny!!! It would make for good black mail down the road or an article if they had a gossip mag for dogs like "The National Barker". For now - Ollie has taken the heat off, LMAO!
