Sometime Saturday evening, we will be meeting our amazing breeder who has now become a dear friend of mine. She is from IL, but is going to be traveling on the exact day that Molly was able to be released, her eight week old birthday. Molly will leave IL around 7 am and arrive in Ga around 7 or 8 pm at night. We will pick her up, give many hugs and love to our breeder and then travel back home the almost four and half hours to SC.

Long day for Molly. hopefully the little butterfly loves to travel and does not get car sick. Molly has had a lot of play time with children, lots of love and lots of early socialization techniques done on her. I can't wait to smell her puppy breathe, to see her personality etc...

We  are set up to succeed I hope. My mom sort of reminds me of Dori, since we don't even have Molly yet and she has four or five outfits, collars, leashes and lord knows what else.

Physically, I am not well, I have not been this "un-well" in a long time and I am slightly concerned that I will not have the energy that I had with Jack. I am going on a special dose of steroids, that will give me a false sense of well being, and some extra energy. We are starting that tomorrow, so by Saturday I should be good to go.

I just saw a picture of Molly, want to see???

She is ours, Grand kid not included.

For the past week, we have had all baby gates, dog play pens and Molly's toys out for Jack to smell. Jack is a little cautious of what is going on.

He will be going with us on the car ride to get Molly. I think everything I have read said that it is best to let them meet on neutral grounds.... Jack will ride up front with me and Molly will be in her car seat in the back with my mom.

These will be the last four days of quiet and non busy days around here for a long while, at least until my mom moves out sometime in October.

Goodness gracious, I hope I am ready for this... Ready or not here she comes!!!!

hugs .. Lilly has been home for 7 days now. You can read my blogs for day to day events. I have COPD and it has not been fun taking her outside when it is so hot I can't breathe, but it is so good to have her here. She makes me smile and laugh. She makes me get out of my chair and play. Keep us posted of your adventures.

Yippee a new puppy! I can't wait to meet her proper here on DK and how she and Jack do together. Your Mom must be over the moon.

I sincerely hope you are feeling better after this next round of "roids", I too am having ill health, a bad bout of asthma for nearly a month (darn humid weather coupled with the wet lands in my back yard) and currently trying to figure out the hives/rash that keep popping up. Praying that you feel better soon.

Oh BTW when I was in hospital and needed a huge dose of said steroids (six days on a drip) a lovely priest came in and just told me to relax and let the drugs do their magic.  I have never forgotten that because it's easy to be anti-meds in our minds and welcoming them is a whole other thing.

The very best of luck, that baby is a doll.  I am hoping that your energy levels and health will be 'good enough' to cope and that you will have so much fun and pleasure from Molly.  Your Mom must be very excited too.... Jack is bound to be wondering what's up but by all accounts he is a lovely personality and he will be a wonderful big brother (uncle) to Molly.
