Regression or Rebellion?

I'm not sure if Ellie is rebelling - what would she be rebelling against? I don't know. Or maybe she's regressing.

She rarely has accidents but between last night and this morning she's had about 4-5 accidents. She's got two pads that are laid around my apartment that she goes on, but for some reason she's chosen not to. I can only wonder what is going on in the little dog's head. Lately she's been walking over to the door a lot. Maybe it's a sign that she's ready to go out. 3rd parvo shot on Monday... thank god we'll all be happy about that one.

Peri had not had an accident for a WEEK. Yet, on Friday afternoon, I came home and gave her a bath because she was filthy. She went totally nuts, running everywhere. I took her out immediately...she peed 4 times within 20 minutes on the carpet, hardwood, everywhere! Guess what? No accident since then....she had a "meltdown" as we've been call it. If she does this again though, ask the vet for sure about an infection. We go Monday also for the 3rd parvo shot. Keep me posted!

You should mention this to your vet. She might have an infection.

My pup is due for his third parvo shot on Monday. (Born March 20th) Four days ago he regressed and started peeing everywhere with no notice far too often We took him to the doctor yesterday and he had an infection. Poor little guy. I just thought he hated me AND my oriental carpets! He's on antibiotics and seems to be a little better already. :-)

She hasn't gone out to potty yet bc she's not fully vaccinated. Up until yesterday, she went on the pads 90% of the time. I think she got a little excited this morning and ran out of her crate and went to my bedroom and peed... I'm hoping it's just a phase :)

Is it possible she has a UTI? When we had our female mastiff, the same thing happened and it turned out she had a UTI, and she literally couldn't make it to the door before urinating....
