Remembering Yoshi

Tonight I have a heavy heart, my family dog Yoshi crossed the rainbow bridge after a wonderful full 18.5 years of life.

I think the best place to honour her memory is here - where I am among people who understand how much I loved her.

She was our first and only family dog.  To me she was my friend, my constant companion, my shadow.  We used to call her "velcro dog", because wherever we were... she was there.  She helped me through many hard times with her calming presence and warm snuggles.  She always stuck close by when someone was sick or upset, reassuring them with licks and nuzzles.

Bichon Frises were bred for their ability to do tricks, and she did not disappoint.  Yoshi was a very smart dog and did many tricks - but in typical Bichon Frise fashion, only did them if she felt like it.  She was a very fun dog and was always up for adventure, especially in her coveted big back yard.

Goodbye, Yoshi.  We will miss you.
