Sad news to share

I know I've not been very active on this site.  I'm sorry to have to share bad news, now. Brady (aka Foofie) has been diagnosed with lymphosarcoma. The vet said we had two choices.  Chemo to extend his life for 12 months, or prednisone to help him feel better for three months.  We opted for prednisone. I want his last months to be happy and will not extend his life just to have him around for another few months. The prednisone is working well, so far.  His appetite is back and he has his energy back.

Now, we just smother him with as much love as we can and make sure he's happier than he's ever been.

Just now seeing your news and am so sorry to read this.  We have been down this path ourselves, so we can definitely understand what you are going through.  Just love him, spoil him and take lots of pictures.  Please know that we will be thinking of you and hoping the prednisone works for a long time.
