I just wanted to put this out there for myself and others that may be the same.  Ya know, the dog smell.    I just adore the scent of Shelby, clean, of course and also on a daily basis.  Laying with her every night in the bed I tell her how much her daddy loves her,  petting her and giving kisses next to her eyes.  For me, not my wife,  I love her paticular smell. 

Shelby just has the smell I love.  I tell her she smells good and love,love,love on her lots.  Do you like the Scent of your loved ones?  Is there anyone else that feels this way?

Just this morning I was cuddling with Peri in bed - I like to put my head in her neck area and smell - I love her smell!!!

I totally agree...I love the way my guys smell, and I "sniff" them often.

OK I admit it's bath time around here-but it won't stop rainiing!!

I love the smell of Chloe's ears-they are not dirty but have a certain smell to them when I give hugs, now Myla-not so much...she is a big licker and she has doggie breath-it grosses me out good thing she is getting her teeth cleaned at the vet on Thursday so maybe she will smell like a different dog. I keep asking DH to put the rain coat on them at leastin the yard because then when they get wet it's not so nice! Your pup sure sounds like a snuggler!!!

I'm not sure about all this....I find great comfort in the FEEL of my dogs, but sometimes Vern doesn't smell so great...LOL. He likes to roll and I definitely don't want to smell him after that. The funny thing is, after he gets groomed, he doesn't smell like Vern, just kind of girly. Fudge never smells bad and I love to snuggle with her.

Daisy smells good all of the time she never smells like a dog I just don't get it.

Now that being said the other day, after a romp at the park, I noticed my car smelled like a dog, time to clean her blankets - ha ha ha

I love the Rooney smell most of the time (uless there is a hidden dingle berry).  I'm not sure if it is just the smell or the smell and feel of his fur on my face.

Darwin smells nice when he's clean. Right before a bath though, he tends to smell like dirty beard. And no, I don't love that smell. LOL

Bernie definitely has a smell! And I love it. I work from home and can always smell him when he's posted up close to me while I'm working. This may sound gross, but at one point I wanted to figure out what it is! It's not just his coat, or his face, or his ears...I was starting to think it was the combo of all of him, until one day he got in my lap and was nose to nose with me and his "fragrance" as my DH calls it, was most pure in his nose! Sounds so weird, but it's true. Either way I love Bern's fragrance, and it's very comforting, means he's close.

Yes, I have always loved the smell of my dogs.  Tigger and Roo are full brothers and I can tell them apart easily by their smell, but both smell good.
