Shelby's first Summer Cut!

Hi Doods!

Today I went to the groomer for my summer cut. My mom has been talking about this for a couple of weeks now. When we got to the groomer - I met Stacey.... she was really nice and took care of me while I was there. Stacey and my mom talked for a while... about my new hair cut.... something about my ears was all I really heard as there was a nice pug in the shop who I was saying hello to.

Mom picked me up at about 2:00pm and she kept talking to me and saying I look cute and that I must have lost weight from all the fur that came off. I am one sleek dood and mom says I feel velvety soft! Mom took me home and then went to get a massage (we both had a day at the spa) with some of her girl friends for someone's birthday. While she was gone - I got a few hours of freedom. She had made me a yummy frozen kong with peanut butter and kibble.

Mom got home around 5:30pm and said let's go for a ride. We were off to our AKC Star Puppy Class. I was a little concerned that my friends in class wouldn't recognize me, but they did... and my BFF in class Winston said I looked good! After class we went to see some friends and then came home to relax a bit - both mom and I ate dinner and then we headed out for our walk.

Last but not least... mom subjected me to a photo shoot so I would have a picture to upload. If your mom is talking about a summer do - this is what she "may" be talking about.... you may have a different summer cut because not all mom's are alike and not all doodles live in the heat and humidity of the South! Ok... time to upload photos and the mom and I are off to bed!

I think she looks great - perfect length for the summer. that is how Peri looked about 6 weeks ago. I think we will be taking her back soon to get her cool again!

Oh Shelby, you look soooooo soft and huggable! I bet you just love being lighter weighted and cool. You feel like a new person and free to run when you get a short haircut.
