Sophie Bear, you make me so PROUD!

Today was our last day of obedience class. The dogs were tested on all of the things we worked on in class. Sophie's class had about 8 dogs, all different kinds. She was the only labradoodle in the group. I was worried about how the tests would go since there were a lot of smart grown up dogs and she can be so excitable some times. I sort of went to the class with the attitude that we might flunk, and we'd just have to practice some more at home and come back to re-take the test another time.

 

Now this being said, I knew my doodle was smart, and since we had been to two puppy classes and at that time I did work on some of the homework, I know she is in a pretty good place. The problem was me. In the last 5 or 6 weeks life has been all about Winston and I have neglected her homework, and missed three whole classes out of eight.

 

So you can imagine my reaction when at the end of the class the instructor handed out the certificates and test results and announced that the top dog in the class is....

Sophie, my little girl, was at the top of the class!!! 95% !

Wonderful job Sophie Bear!  Sherri great job to you also!  Rooney is in his CGC class and Stuart is in a good manners class - I of course want them to both do well.  Both boys are the youngest in their classes and it does make nervous!  You guys rock!!!
