Sophie is home!

Yesterday, after getting settled from vacation and bringing my dad home from nursing home we drove 2 hrs to pick up Sophie. She came out the breeders door smiling and tail wagging. I knew that moment that we made the right choice. I took her snuggle puppy and a blanket to get her mothers sent on them. I held her on the ride home and she threw up one time which was food. When we got home we went to our back yard where she was greeted by my granddaughters. They played and had a great time. We fed her and gave her water and she did both potty outside. She came inside, checked out her crate and played with her toys. We had a great evening playing with her. Bed time was a different story, we couldn't't handle her crying so..she slept with us. We actually had a good sleep. I had to get up and check on my dad at 5:30 and she stayed in bed. Finally at 7 am I took her out to potty. No accidents until I gave her food and went outside for a sec and she pooed (on my new carpet. Ugh..) my fault. Other then that its been great. On a funny note..my DH has to wear a shirt while playing with her on floor or she goes after his nipples...lol.. She is a sweetheart and love her so much!

UH OH!!! The first night she found a new bed!!! No worries, same thing happened with Myla we couldn't handle the screaching all night. Chloe liked her crate! Congrats and good luck!

Today was good. No accidents and she is now going up and down 3 steps. I'm not sure how many hrs puppies sleep but she seems to sleep a lot. Not in her crate. She does go into it to get her toys. We did leave her for a couple hrs (in crate) but my dad thinks she cried the whole time. We went to Target to buy the spot bot. Hope I don't need to use it too often. She will be sleeping with us again tonite...as long as we can sleep I don't mind.
