Spring break and Flat Charlie

Its spring break and I promised my DD I would take them on a trip. They want to stay in a hotel with a pool. The only problem is that Charlie is not coming. It will be the first time in two years that I have left him home. Lucky for him his Dad will be with him. To Charlie it’s not the same. So we have decided to take flat Charlie with us on our road trip. This will serve a couple of good reasons. The first being, that he will be close to us. Also he needs to keep a spring break journal for his reading buddies. I’m not sure he is too happy!

I had Flat Stanley visit me from North Carolina, but he can't hold a candle to Flat Charlie. Very cute idea!
