I've been holding back...so not like me to hold in the most exciting thing that has happened to me.

So here goes.

We have adopted. We are so excited. So excited. So excited. Did I say we are so excited?

No dog should be alone.

MEET SPUD'S FOREVER SISTER. HIS NEW LOVE. HIS LIFE-LONG FOREVER FRIEND.

Did I say I was excited?

Good Grief, I am excited.

And for those of you who know I sing to my dogs.... The new song is Hey Soul Sister, by Train

JANE, Thank you so much for adding the sound to the play list today {dancing here }

Special Thanks to the DRC www.doodlerescuecollective.ning.com and their adoption program :) Now do me all a favor and go vote today.

Have a wonderful, exciting, dog-boring (meaning they just sleep during the drive) trip. We'll still be here when you get back and fill us in on your adventure!

It has been an extremely busy week here....

My husband and I are making a 17 hour -round trip to pick up our adoptee. At the same time another doodle
(doodle train), and Spud will also be in the car. Here's a movie title, " THREE DOODS IN THE CAR, and the adventures to New Jersey"
Making plans and running, running, running to finalize this. I feel like I am missing out on all the fun on DK.
Again, Thanks to you all for the laughs and smiles and sharing in our excitement. You all are too much fun :)

Oh Dierdre, I love " Blush"
Wish I wasn't so busy.............. This is too much fun. In between the craziness in my home, I can keep coming in to peek and see what you all are up to. Your making me smile.

I must say I almost added in my original post that I hoped that you kept her name. At that point I didn't realize that Jacquie had named her. I think that Chloe is the perfect name for her.

Joanne- I'm so happy for you! I fell in love with Chole when I first saw her on Pet Finder so happy she found her forever home with you guys. How about Chip or as in Engalnd Crispest? They are from Spuds:) I'm a garden grower so here are some names of potatos; Caribe, Onaway, Yukon, Blush, Rose, Elba, Carola, Butte. Yet I think "Beans" is a cute name you'd have your starch and vege in one yell. Next puppy could be fish, bison, lamb, beef, chicken, duck ect. Talk about balanced. Enjoy!

Joanne - as in half-baked???? Twice-baked???? Tee Hee. How about stuffed or cheesy? This is gonna be fun! My uncle suggested the following names for our children: Misby- or Harley- - to be paired with our last name - Haver. Oh, yes, he also suggested HOGG Haver. Hopefully he was kidding!!! ha ha
