Stuart turns 1 tomorrow!

Or so we think - seems there was a little confusion as to the actual date from the rescue but we believe it is April 5th.  Dh, Rooney, Stuart and I will spend his b-day taking a road trip up to Marietta to dd's house for the Easter weekend and of course while there we are meeting up with Stuart's full brother Beamer for the 1st time.  I just can't tell you all how special Stuart is - just the happiest boy I have ever seen.  Loves people and other dogs (well not Puggles so much - lol), is a such a snuggler and gives great kisses.  He will chase a ball till you can't throw one any longer and the same with the swimming pool.  He is a wonderful playmate to Rooney and the bond that they have runs so deep, I've seen both dogs run interference for each other at the dog park - protecting the other.  I had spent so much time selecting Rooney and his breeder that to just go for Stuart based on his picture, not knowing any background, was a leap of faith - and yet when I saw his picture - I KNEW he was mine.  Boy did we ever hit the jackpot!  Stuart - happy 1st birthday - momma loves you with all my heart!

Wow, hard to believe it has been a year since that photo in the wheeled carrier popped up and we all fell in love with Stuart.  He certainly did turn into a beautiful shaggy little fellow.

@Jo - that is so funny.  Full brothers with different b-dates.  I think the 13th might have been the original date on the paper work but later sent a note saying they "thought" it was the 5th.  Who knows - lol!!!!  All I know is that we got THE BEST 2 PUPPIES EVER!  LOL

Beamer and Stuart are brothers of course but since I saw the April 13th on his Bday at the vet I went with that. My husbands birthday is April 5th so I decided to keep the original date. A non compete is always good. Either way we have a April baby doodle.
